Grateful for him....

The time has come my sweetness momma's favorite Uncle has returned to our Father in Heaven.  He was called back on May 5, 2010 about 8p.m. with his daughter your Aunty Patiola by his side.  This picture was taken Sunday May 2, 2010 about 8p.m. me & you went up to visit him.  You were so talkative to him in fact I have it on a video clip of how you couldn't stop talking.  Oh Ongo May how I wished you had gotten to know him, but then again I'm sure you two had your own way of communicating!  I LOVE this man and am so grateful he was my Uncle/Dad, he is a very special man w/ a great spirit. He will truly be missed but we know he can finally be at peace.  No worries as you get older I'm sure I'll share with you lots of great stories about him.  We will forever miss you Uncle I LOVE YOU sooooooooo much but I know your much happier now!! Our Anniversary 3 YEARS

I know I'm a little late with this but blame it on the way your Dad got me this camera lol he'll have to share that with you when you get a little older.  We have instilled that our Anniversary will always be spent with you....yup not the "drop" off so me & Dad can go celebrate NOPE your involved lol I'm not sure if you'll enjoy when your older but I think me & Dad can be "cool".  We believe your as much a part of this marriage.  We kept it very simple this year and just went out for dinner at Marie Calendar's and then home it was to relax...as long as we are together!!  So here's to us my sweetness a HAPPY 3 YEARS (as of March 19) and when you are older I'll explain another earlier anniversary lol it will be a fun story to share with you. Anyhow my dear here is to many many many many more to the ETERNITY.

Brother's

Your older brother's the KOFE's
I wanted to blog today about your handsome older brothers!! They've been expecting you since October '09 when we confirmed your arrival...and since the ultrasound that we showed them of you...believe it or not they knew how special you were going to be!! They also NEVER failed to mention you to anyone they came across "You know I have a baby sister BABY GIRL" it was soooo cute to hear them. Since you've come they cant stop kissing you, hugging you, talking to you its amazing how delicate they are with you but when its just them boy do they play rough.  I wanted to remind you how special you are to have these 4 older brothers in your life.  You are obviously our oldest but you have many many other older brothers & sisters and among them all I have a feeling you'll be close to these  four.  Your Aunty Mino & Uncle Pepe is where these handsome 4 come from we have the oldest Benson, P-Nutt or Dee, Bobo now he is something else, and Baby Se he's about 4months older then you.  I have LOVED watching them grow up especially watch how they interact with you!! I hope you grow up to know how blessed you are with them being in your life especially to be your older brothers to protect you  in this crazy world!!

Ongo May & G-Pa Saia

Your first time visiting your G-Pa Saia

Grandpa Saia....

So this blog is to introduce you to your handsome G-Pa Saia...this would be G-Pa Talite's older brother.  I can say so much about this man...let me share with you the fondest memory I have of him...he came down from Tonga to live with us long long time ago.  This is before he was married to his crazy, funny wife Ilaise.  He lived with us and while your G-Pa Talite & G-Ma Ongo were busy with work, church, family things this man right here took care of us kids.  I remember him combing me & your Aunty's hair when it was time for us to get ready for school....back then he was much healthier with muscles that were big to scare someone but he was the gentles man caring for us. We often talk about how he would comb our hair up to wrap the rubber band around and it would be pretty tight but once he let our pony tail go..it was so loose and at time a bit crocked lol.  I LOVE this man he has always been so quiet, humble and to himself BUT you can feel of his LOVE & SWEET SWEET spirit.  Just thinking about him makes me cry...he has come a long ways having a total of 8 kids with one child he gave to his baby sister to have.  He has fought a battle of our family's disease which is "diabetes" in 2008 he leg was amputated (right leg) above his knee but he was a fighter with it, not allowing it to burden him from attending family functions, church and other things he would attend.  We were  told his kidneys failed in January and that he wouldn't have much time and its now May I think he's done a great job!! He is now at his final days and our hearts hurt to have him go....I wish you were a little older to know what a great man he is...so you my sweetness can feel of his sweet spirit...I am happy to show you pictures of your first visit with him and Im so grateful that he was still at that time able to hold you, kiss you & remind everyone to make sure you were warm and well fed.  I know as you grow up I'll share with you more about him but just a reminder of what great men you have had come in your life to help you and witness the great women you will grow up to be....love you my Queen Ongo May

Booo to teething....

OK so I can't really say "boo to teething" I mean hello I do want you to have teeth, BUT the process in getting them if "teething" could kill it would've shot your Daddy that early Saturday morning.  So like I mentioned in the blog before this one...uh things did NOT unfold like we had planned BUT its OK there is MUCH more to worry about in life then lil petty things like that lol.  Getting to the "teething" part..well we went to bed on Friday night like usual you do such a great job puting your self to sleep we just lay you down and you do the rest!! Well about 3a.m. you let out a cry, and for one you NEVER cry..in fact everyone trys to make you cry just to hear your voice lol, but nope not that morning...you let it out.....your Dad jumped and so did I.  You didn't want your Binky, you just kept crying so I made your fave...a 6oz milk/banana creme custard you ate most of it and fell right to sleep but only to wake up another 3 to 4 times.  We'll I woke you up about 8a.m. cause you were pretty hot...took you upstairs to your G-Ma and she hold told that you were in the process of "teething" you had pela's in your eyes, and kept trying to naw on anything you could get your hands on.  So Motrin it was with some orajel to numb it..and you were back to your self bright eyed, laughing & talking!! Since our meds you've been great love us some orajel and Motrin!! LoL All in all it was sad to see you in such pain  but its comforting to know its for a good reason!! Love you my Queen Ongo May....
