Grandpa Alama....

I mentioned it below in a quick run down on what we've been doing the past few months and amoung our crazy schedule was that of visiting my Dad G-Pa Talite in the hospital, to him being transfered to a rehab center due to a small surgery that was done right above his right hip (so another blog I need to do). It was about the 3rd time we had come to visit my Dad when he informed us that G-Pa Alama was at the same rehab center, so me & Jay decided to go and see if we could find him. So obviously we did locate him cruising in his wheelchair trying to find my Dad's room lol it was too cute. Our visit that day with him was so special, G-Pa hadn't seen Jay for so long only because of us being so caught up with our lives and never taken the time to drop by and see him. That visit broke my Jay's heart I never seen my husband so emotional. When it came time to leave G-Pa was in tears which led to Jay standing outside his door rubbing his eyes crying and feeling sad & mad at the same time. Sad because leaving his G-Pa & mad because it took him this long to come and find him. Jay's maternal Grandma Silia Sitofa passed away when my mother in law was about 8 I believe so Jay never knew her, he knew his Great Grandparents G-Pa Piu & G-Ma Makaleta. We'll G-Pa Alama falls 2nd oldest after G-Ma Sisilia Sitoafa. G-Pa Alama used to come & pick up Jay when he was a baby and go eva with him for the weekend, and to this day he's always kept Jay close to him. Its the little things that we do that makes G-Pa Alama happy, sitting there talking with him, picking him up and curising with him (which we've done LOVED IT), eating dinner with him, watching T.V. the list goes on and on. I'm grateful for my parents instilling in me the importance of family regardless how near or far they may be you are connected!

My AMEX Family

Another group of lovely people that are now tied to our CHUNCKY CHIPS is my family @ work AMEX that is. I have been at this great company for about 5yrs and have LOVED every bit of it. The company itself is great but its the kind of people I work with that make me love working there even more. Back in Feb. a few of my co-workers insisted on throwing a little babyshower, so off i went regestering @ Target really not knowing what to get only because this little momma was blessed with so many great gifts from her immediate & extended family. The baby shower was great full of great jokes, laughing, chit chatting, and yummy food. A good friend of mind who I love to death little "Mrs. Do it ALL" Janet Pilcher was behind it all she provided the house, the food, the invites <---I must was the cutest! All who attended were TR Lorie, Vivian, Linda, Renee, Janet (pink), Lisa, ME, Lupy BR Alfredo, Mino, Baby & Ana. Jay took the pix below. In the pix Renee who is in the blue slightly purple sweater is going through a lot she is such a sweet women! Just this past Monday March 22 (the day i returned to work) she was called out to find out that her son Jacob had committed suicide. I guess they had called her out when we had all just got done chit chatting. Oh my heartaches for this women she was always willing to help all those around her with whatever they were going through, even if she was going through her own trials. So today together with a few other friends here at work we are going to attend the services for her son. I think of how blessed (in so many ways) I am for one to have a great job and then to work with GREAT people. Our prayers & love to the Moon family!!

My co-workers @ AMEX LOVE these people!!

Bye..bye GEENIE a.k.a MULLET

Like mentioned below Sunday Feb. 7th we ended the night cutting off the "geenie" helping me was Princess Moala Si'i being that she is the lil niece. We went to the bathroom and started chopping away. We weren't able to get the whole part of the "geenie" hence the pix of Jay with the cool haircut below with "CHUNCKY CHIPS" but after a Jazz game that Jay atteneded with sister Silia & hubby Lupeni Iongi did his magic and hooked it up, and waaalllaaaaa you have Baby Jayy looking so handsome lol. He has had his "geenie" since a dear friend of his (more like brother) Fatbacc passed his full set of hair became a "geenie" and for the last 3 yrs his "geenie" was pretty much his trademark. I must admit I did like it I mean how could i not grow found of it it was so him...but I cant help but LOVE his full head now. Love my Baby Jayy with or without his "geenie"

The outcome drum roll please lol Jay w/out the little geenie woo hoo

We are halfway there lol

A BEAUTIFUL BLESSING

So unfortunately I can't find the CD with the pix from her blessing weekend. We had a blessing eating slash baby shower that will have to be another post because I really need to post the pictures from that. As for our daughters blessing WOW it was TRULY B E A U T I F U L. Ongo May was blessed by her Grandpa (my Dad) Talite and the blessing he blessed her with was absolutely PERFECT. Everything a mother & father would want and hope for!! Because of how sacred it is I choose not to just put it out on blog. Our daughter is so blessed bringing together so many families. In her circle where handsome faithful men that has a link to her. Her G-Pa's my Dad, and Ita's (her biological mother) Dad Sale, Uncle's Wolfgramn side Fritz, Ben, her Lapu'aho side Mark, & Dee, Haloti, Nydegger side G-Pa Bob, Uncles Rich, Ken, Greg & David?, her Makoni side G-Pa Pila, Uncle Lehi 4 beautiful families this little girl is tied to. Another highlight of that day was that of Dad (Jay) getting up and baring his testimony and boy was that yet another beautiful moment!! I was so proud of him..it just flowed as he spoke and that means a lot because Jay gets pretty nervous infront of people. We sealed that special day with Dad cutting his "geenie" yes it finally came off!! You cant ask for a better day than that Sunday Feb. 7th was a sweet Sabbath Day!!

Her G-Pa who blessed her!!

So far...

So just to name a few things that have happened since the last blog.....

At 2 weeks our "CHUNCKY CHIPS" had RSV and we had an overnite stay @ Primary's, she is a little "warrior" she had no fever, & maintained her figure..kept eating so they released us. She was on oxygen for a week but just to help her cuase she was so young. So happy that has passed!!

Daddy Jay got a full time job woo hoo so EXCITED!! Excel they handle the fridging of Dannon products for the supermarkets Walmart, Associated Foods, Sam's Club, Costco and so on. He's a stand-up forklift driver woooooo hooooooooo he LOVES the forklift hoi. His shift works great with my shift he works Fri-Sun 6pm-6am and then picks up here and there. We get FREE yogurt yuummyyyy!!

Dad or G-Pa Talite was admitted to IMC at the end of Feb (22) due to an infection causing him to fever (right hip had to much fluid) being diabetic they had to go in and drain it before it got to the bone. So G-Pa had a little surgery and then was admitted to a rehab (Legacy) for about 4 weeks he finally came home on Saturday March 20 we are so happy he's back!! We had a good time going up and visiting him & Great Grandpa Alama but there is no place like home.

I have just went back to work w/ Amex and its nice to be back. I try not to think of my feti because I start to get teary eyed. So grateful I have my job to help raise this little momma. Its been good so far..our upcoming plans is to get our paper work finalized so come June we can make it OFFICIAL with our little hija. Also to find a cute, cheap, clean little home to call our home...cant wait to be on our own and to decorate for the Holidays with our new momma.

So thats pretty much the big things that happened beside Ongo May's blessing weekend. Lots of family, friends, food and gifts..gift...gifts..gifts this little girl is spoiled. We have to change her clothes so much to make sure she gets to wear all of them. I will post her blessing pictures tomorrow I know two months later..and technically its only been one month lol. Ok bye.

Oh where has the time gone....

I know I know it only took like 3months for me to get back on here!! No excuses besides a sick Dad & milking the time with our "CHUNCKY CHIPS" gosh didnt know you can LOVE so much its crazy but I'm loving it. My mind races with the list of things to do, traditons to start, clothes to get, appointments to set, and on and on sheesh. But I'm not going to stress so much because I'm not trying to let it distract the simpleness of just being with her & being her Mommy. Here are just some random pictures since this PRINCESS has blessed our lives.
